We love hosting gatherings in the garden and believe there’s no better place in Central Arkansas to bring people together! If you’re looking for a beautiful and relaxed setting for your next outdoor event, Dunbar Garden is the perfect fit.

Conditions and Responsibilities of the Renter
Security – Dunbar Garden recommends security for events that charge admission or involve handling cash on site. You can bring your own security or we can hire them at the rate of $15.00 per hour. Fees are due at the time of the event.
Insurance – Event liability insurance is strongly recommended. The renter is responsible for securing coverage that meets the limits specified in our sample insurance form. Organizations with existing event coverage must provide a certificate of liability. Coverage may be obtained through a variety of providers; please contact your insurer or explore available options online.
For events serving alcohol, please make sure your coverage includes Host Liquor Liability. Insurance can be purchased through Dunbar Garden.
Caterers, food trucks, and other vendors are responsible for their own coverage. We will not regulate third party vendors.
Kitchen Policy – Dunbar does not have a kitchen for public use.
Cleaning – We require the space to be clean within 1 hour of the end of the event unless other arrangements have been made with the garden staff.
Load in & Load Out – All setup and breakdown must occur within the time frame specified in the contract. Adhering to these times allows us to maintain our garden schedule.
Entry & Exit – Renter agrees that Dunbar Garden staff may enter and exit the premises during the course of the event.
Lost & Found – Dunbar Garden is not responsible for items left on the premises during or after an event. We will make every reasonable effort to return lost items to their owners and will hold items for up to 30 days following the event.
Images – Promotional images of the garden are available upon request. We also appreciate the opportunity to use event photography to showcase our venue. Any usage will comply with the permissions and limitations established by professional photographers.
Final Guest Count – Please share your final guest count at least three days before your event so we can prepare for a smooth and enjoyable experience.
Live Music/Noise – We love having music and dancing in the garden! As we are located in a residential neighborhood, we ask that all events comply with local noise guidelines. If sound levels become too high, a Dunbar Garden staff member may request that the volume be lowered or turned off.
Loud music must end by 9PM on week nights and 10 PM on Friday and Saturday nights.
Privy – Dunbar Garden provides a permanent, plumbed restroom facility, as well as one portable restroom. These accommodations are suitable for events with up to 150 guests. For larger groups, an additional portable unit will be required.
NORMAL Rates:
Rental rates to be determined by event.
A signed contract and date-hold deposit in the amount of 25% of rental rate must be received to reserve your date.
A copy of your Event Liability Insurance is due no later than 10 days prior to your event unless other arrangements are made.
The deposit is non-refundable within 1 week of the event. In the event of inclement weather, we will coordinate to reschedule your event.
NONPROFIT RATES:
Rental rates to be determined by event. If rates present a challenge for your organization, we are open to discussing flexible arrangements, including creative partnerships and opportunities for volunteer support.
